Sarah Hirzel makes drawings, prints and photographs, mostly about her experience of landscape in the United States. Sarah currently serves as the curator of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Wiesner Student Art Gallery and as an instructor in the MIT Voxel Music and Arts Innovation Space. She recently served as a visual effects consultant for the 2022 documentary Hollow Tree directed by Kira Akerman. Sarah is a graduate of the Yale School of Art and Wesleyan University.
